Specializes in the differential diagnosis of febrile diseases, the diagnosis and therapy of various infectious diseases, especially complicated and refractory infectious diseases, hepatitis, and tuberculosis, as well as the rational selection and application of antimicrobial drugs. Dr. Liu has been engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases for a long time. She was a Visiting Research Fellow at the Nuffield Department of Clinical Medicine (John Radcliffe Hospital), University of Oxford, UK. She has hosted and participated in more than 10 national and provincial/ministerial-level projects and published over 150 papers in domestic and international professional journals. She has compiled and translated more than 10 academic monographs and textbooks, including serving as the editor-in-chief of 'Medical Research Methods' (a standardized training textbook for residents by the National Health Commission) and chief translator of 'Users' Guides to the Medical Literature - A Manual for Evidence-Based Clinical Practice'.
