Dr. Bao Liu is a Professor, Chief Physician, and Doctoral/Postdoctoral Supervisor currently serving as the Deputy Director of Vascular Surgery and Branch Secretary at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He holds an M.D. and a Ph.D. in Surgery from Peking Union Medical College. Dr. Liu specializes in the endovascular and surgical treatment of major arterial diseases, including abdominal aortic aneurysms and aortic dissections. He is also highly experienced in the endovascular and surgical treatment of carotid artery stenosis, lower limb ischemia, and diabetic foot. He has extensive international experience, having served as a visiting scholar and international fellow at prestigious institutions including Albany Medical Center, Stanford University Hospital, Leipzig University in Germany, and Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong. Dr. Liu is actively involved in clinical, basic, and interdisciplinary medical-engineering research, leading numerous national and provincial research projects. He serves on multiple editorial boards and professional committees, has published over 30 SCI papers, and holds multiple patents in the field of vascular surgery.
