Professor Ke Tan graduated from China Medical University in 1984 and has been working in the Department of Ophthalmology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He is a renowned expert engaged in clinical, teaching, and research work in ophthalmology, with over 30 years of clinical experience.
He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of fundus diseases and ocular trauma, including diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, and macular diseases. He has achieved significant efficacy using intraocular injections and laser therapy, and has accumulated extensive experience in performing vitrectomy for complex diabetic retinopathy, ocular fundus trauma, and macular diseases.
Professor Tan has attended numerous domestic and international conferences, published nearly 20 papers, and served as editor-in-chief, deputy editor-in-chief, and co-author of multiple ophthalmology books.
