Chief Physician, Master's Supervisor, and Professor. Dr. Yu Wang holds an MD and completed postdoctoral research in the United States. He specializes in the diagnosis and surgery-based comprehensive treatment of central nervous system malignancies and brain metastases. His clinical expertise includes multimodal image-guided precise neurosurgical resection of intracranial malignancies, as well as comprehensive treatments involving radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and biotherapy. He is also highly skilled in using image-guided stereotactic techniques, neuronavigation, and neurosurgical robot-assisted technologies for precise biopsies of intracranial lesions. Dr. Wang began his seven-year clinical medicine program at Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University in 1998. In 2004, he transferred to the eight-year program at Peking Union Medical College, where he earned his MD in 2006. Following graduation, he served as a Resident, Chief Resident, and Attending Physician at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. From 2013 to 2014, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Neuro-Oncology Center of MD Anderson Cancer Center in the United States, focusing on the pathogenesis, molecular targeted therapy, and comprehensive treatment of gliomas. He is actively leading and participating in numerous Phase I, II, and III clinical trials exploring innovative treatments, targeted therapies, and immunotherapies for glioblastoma, low-grade gliomas, diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), and other advanced solid tumors.
