He is proficient in thoracoscopic lobectomy, segmentectomy, mediastinal tumor resection, and esophageal tumor resection. In recent years, he has focused on Da Vinci robot-assisted surgery for the precise minimally invasive treatment of lung cancer, esophageal cancer, and mediastinal tumors. He is highly experienced in surgical management following neoadjuvant therapy, particularly skilled in complex reconstructive surgeries such as sleeve lobectomy, bronchoplasty, and angioplasty, with a strong emphasis on individualized treatment and postoperative lung function preservation.
He graduated in 1998 from China Medical University with a 6-year English clinical medicine degree. He currently serves as the Deputy Director of Thoracic Surgery and Chief Physician at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He previously visited Massachusetts General Hospital for clinical experience exchange in thoracic surgery. His primary clinical and research areas focus on the diagnosis and treatment of lung, esophageal, and mediastinal diseases, with extensive experience in minimally invasive surgical treatments.
