Director of the Oncology Medical Center and Medical Oncology Department, Chief Physician, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors, tumor chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. Dr. Ba is a Tier-2 Professor, an awardee of the National Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Project, a New Century Talent of the Ministry of Education, and enjoys a special government allowance from the State Council. After completing her postdoctoral research at the Scripps Research Institute in the United States in 2002, she returned to China to work in medical oncology, focusing on the basic and clinical research of digestive system tumors. She has designed, led, and participated in nearly 100 global and national multi-center clinical trials, and has led multiple National Natural Science Foundation projects and major new drug creation projects for the Ministry of Science and Technology. She has published dozens of SCI papers in authoritative international journals, with several listed as ESI highly cited papers in clinical medicine.
