Dr. Gao has been engaged in clinical work in neurology since 1987. Born in Linhai, Zhejiang in 1964, Dr. Gao completed an internship at Peking Union Medical College Hospital in 1986 and has been working in its Department of Neurology since 1987. Dr. Gao has made significant contributions to the field, including serving as a forum moderator for 'Neuro-ultrasound' since 2007, publishing the book 'Diagnostic Techniques and Clinical Applications of Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound (TCD)' in 2004, and conducting extensive TCD training for vascular neurologists across multiple cities from 2011 to 2015. From 2009 to 2015, Dr. Gao served as an instructor for the 'International Academy of Stroke Standardized Treatment' and authored 'Chinese Ischemic Stroke Subtypes'. Since 2011, Dr. Gao has led extensive discussions and training on dizziness, vertigo, and headache, publishing the e-book series 'Miscellaneous Talks on Dizziness and Vertigo', and serving as an instructor at the Eisai Dizziness and Vertigo Academy since 2012.
