Director of the Liver Surgery Teaching and Research Section, Chief Physician, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. Former Director of Liver Surgery at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the hepatobiliary system, especially intractable diseases. Dr. Sang graduated from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in clinical medicine and subsequently joined the surgery department at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He served successively as a resident, attending physician, associate chief physician, chief physician, and professor. From 1993 to 1995, he was a visiting scholar at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden. In 2007, he received his Ph.D. from the Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University. He has undertaken multiple national and provincial projects, including the 863 Program, National Natural Science Foundation projects, Ministry of Science and Technology international cooperation projects, and National Health Commission industry funds.
