Specializes in anti-aging treatment for facial aging; upper and lower eyelid plastic and aesthetic surgery; nose and jaw plastic and aesthetic surgery; wound and scar repair; skin tumor treatment; male breast development (gynecomastia) and male genital plastic and aesthetic surgery; minimally invasive treatment with aesthetic lasers and injections; and the application of skin cell regeneration technology to treat vitiligo. Dr. Liu holds a Master's degree and has participated in multiple research projects funded by the Ministry of Health and university research funds. After graduating from university, he was assigned to the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. In 2003, he transferred to the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Department of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He has been engaged in plastic and aesthetic surgery for 35 years. In 2008, he studied as a senior visiting scholar at Tokyo Medical and Dental University in Japan. He has also participated in training on facial rejuvenation, clinical application of regenerative medicine, and laser aesthetic medicine at the National Wound Healing Center in the United States, the Royal Medical College of Western Australia, and Cambridge University in the UK. He has delivered speeches at domestic and international plastic and aesthetic surgery conferences and the World Congress on Regenerative Medicine multiple times.
