Dr. Xiaojun Wang specializes in immediate breast reconstruction after breast cancer surgery, comprehensive plastic surgery treatment of localized scleroderma, ear reconstruction, comprehensive scar treatment, and facial rejuvenation. She serves as the Director of the Plastic and Aesthetic Quality Control Center of the National Health Commission, President-elect of the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and Chairman of the Plastic and Injury Repair Expert Committee of the Bethune Public Welfare Foundation. She is the former Director of the Plastic Surgery Medical Aesthetic Center. Dr. Wang holds prominent editorial roles, including Deputy Editor of the 'Chinese Journal of Plastic Surgery', 'Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery', and 'Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (Chinese Edition)'. She is also an editorial board member for several other aesthetic and plastic surgery journals and serves as a reviewer for 'Aesthetic Plastic Surgery' and 'Chinese Medicine Journal'. She has led multiple national-level research projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, and the National Natural Science Foundation. She has published over 150 core journal and SCI papers as the first or corresponding author. Dr. Wang teaches undergraduates at Peking Union Medical College and has trained over 20 doctoral students. She established the clinical treatment standards for immediate breast reconstruction after breast cancer surgery at Peking Union Medical College Hospital.
