Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various benign and malignant breast diseases, as well as the diagnosis and surgical treatment of breast cancer, including mastectomy, breast-conserving surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and axillary lymph node dissection. Also experienced in radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, endocrine therapy, and immunotherapy, and is familiar with comprehensive treatment and plan formulation for breast cancer.
Dr. Cao graduated from Zhejiang University in 2011 with a Master of Medicine degree (seven-year program) and later obtained an MD from Peking Union Medical College. He has served as a surgical resident, chief surgical resident, attending physician of breast surgery, and associate chief physician at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. As a project leader, he has presided over multiple scientific research projects related to breast cancer immunotherapy.
