She specializes in the functional evaluation, physical therapy, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal system diseases, nervous system diseases, hemophilia, cardiopulmonary diseases, and geriatric diseases. Her clinical expertise includes the evaluation and rehabilitation of hemophilia, post-stroke, Parkinson's disease, swallowing dysfunction, osteoporosis, low back pain, neck pain, orthopedic surgery, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Professor Chen has pursued advanced studies and training at the UCSF Medical Center (USA), Johns Hopkins University Geriatrics Center (USA), University of Calgary (Canada), Prince of Wales Hospital of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Singapore General Hospital.
