Dr. Wan has long been engaged in clinical, teaching, and research work in neurology, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of movement disorders (extrapyramidal diseases), and has extensive clinical experience in rare and complex diseases where abnormal movement is a prominent manifestation. She pioneered the application of botulinum toxin in China for treating various conditions such as hemifacial spasm, dystonia, spasticity, migraine and tension headaches, tic disorders, and hyperhidrosis. Her clinical application and research of botulinum toxin are at a leading level domestically.
