Professor Xisheng Weng is a renowned orthopedic expert in China with extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal deformities, cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, hip osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, necrosis of the femoral head, and hemophilic arthritis. He specializes in various joint replacement surgeries.
In recent years, he has focused particularly on the basic and clinical research of femoral head necrosis and artificial joint surgery, such as osteoarthritis. He has led multiple national-level research funds, including the National Natural Science Foundation, industry funds, and the 'Ninth Five-Year', 'Tenth Five-Year', and 863 projects. He has trained over 20 doctoral students and more than 10 master's students, most of whom now serve as core professionals in major medical schools and affiliated hospitals.
