Chief Physician, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. Specializes in complex and rare neurological disorders such as motor neuron disease, peripheral neuropathy, and myopathy. Dr. Cui was born in December 1956 in Shenyang, Liaoning. She graduated from China Medical University and has been working at the Neurology Department of Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH) since 1982. She obtained her PhD in 1991, focusing on neurology and clinical neurophysiology. She is the former Director of the Neurology Department at PUMCH. She serves as the Chairman of the Neurology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Executive Committee Member of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN), and holds various other prestigious leadership roles in national medical associations. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese Journal of Neurology. She has published over 500 academic papers and authored over 20 books.
