Professor, Chief Physician, and Doctoral/Postdoctoral Supervisor. Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult rheumatic immune diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, vasculitis, myositis, dermatomyositis, scleroderma, Sjogren's syndrome, and other rheumatic immune diseases. Dr. Zeng was born in 1962. He graduated from the Basic Medicine program at Shanghai First Medical College in 1984. In 1995, he received the Ivy Wu Fellowship to study immunopathology at the University of Hong Kong, and in 1998, he systematically studied GCP at Janssen-Ortho Inc. in Canada under the Ministry of Health's strategic partnership program. He has been working at Peking Union Medical College Hospital since 1984 and was exceptionally promoted to Chief Physician in 1999. He currently serves as the Director of the National Clinical Research Center for Dermatologic and Immunologic Diseases, a member of the 13th Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, and a recipient of the State Council Special Allowance. He has held numerous prominent positions, including former Chairman of the Rheumatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, President of the Rheumatologist Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and Vice President of the Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR). He has published over 400 articles, including more than 100 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author, and has led multiple national-level research projects, including the '11th', '12th', and '13th Five-Year Plan' national key research and development programs.
