He is dedicated to the nutritional treatment of various diseases, including obesity, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hyperuricemia and gout, kidney diseases, and surgical diseases.
He has been engaged in clinical nutrition work for 30 years. He participated in the formulation of the 'Dietary Guidelines for Chinese Residents' and presided over the completion of the 'National Nutrition Plan - Clinical Nutrition 2017-2030'. He led the formulation of 5 national health industry standards and organized a national multi-center study on nutritional metabolism and clinical intervention for sarcopenia. He has presided over 21 national, provincial, ministerial, and society-level projects.
