Dr. Fan graduated from the Department of Medicine at Shanghai Medical University in 1992 and has been working in the Department of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at Peking Union Medical College Hospital ever since. He is dedicated to the clinical pharmacology of antibiotics and clinical research on nosocomial infections. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex and difficult-to-diagnose infectious diseases, as well as the differential diagnosis of fever of unknown origin.
