Professor Daobin Zhou is a Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, and Director of the Hematology Teaching and Research Section. He formerly served as the Director of the Department of Hematology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He specializes in hematological malignancies, including leukemia, myeloma, and lymphoma, as well as autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. He pioneered the use of autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for POEMS syndrome in China and has conducted numerous prospective clinical studies, achieving leading domestic standards in treating refractory autoimmune diseases. Dr. Zhou graduated from West China University of Medical Sciences in 1987 and received his MD from Peking Union Medical College in 1992. He completed postdoctoral work at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 1998 to 2000. He has received multiple national and Beijing municipal grants and has published over 50 papers in domestic and international journals, including authoritative publications like Blood and Leukemia.
