Expert in managing common age-related diseases and multiple chronic conditions for elderly adults, including geriatric syndromes (frailty, falls, depression, anxiety, polypharmacy, malnutrition), disease screening and prevention, and preoperative evaluation. Dr. Liu has 35 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology and 13 years in geriatrics. She formerly served as the Deputy Director of Internal Medicine, Director of International Medical Services, and Director of Geriatrics. Currently, she is the Director of the Department of Geriatrics at Peking Union Medical College. She has published over 190 articles and serves as the editor-in-chief of national textbooks such as 'Geriatrics' (3rd edition).
