Dr. Zhang graduated with a degree in Clinical Medicine from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1995 and joined the Department of Internal Medicine at Peking Union Medical College Hospital in August of the same year. She obtained her Master's degree from Peking Union Medical College in 2002.
