Obstetrics and Gynecology
Professor Yu Qi is a Chief Physician, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor, currently serving as the Director of the Gynecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Center Teaching and Research Section at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He specializes in sterility, menopause, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and various gynecologic endocrine diseases. He graduated in 1989 from the 8-year program at Peking Union Medical College with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. He subsequently served as a resident, attending physician, associate chief physician, and chief physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. Neurosurgery
Chief Physician, Master's Supervisor, and Professor. Dr. Yu Wang holds an MD and completed postdoctoral research in the United States. He specializes in the diagnosis and surgery-based comprehensive treatment of central nervous system malignancies and brain metastases. His clinical expertise includes multimodal image-guided precise neurosurgical resection of intracranial malignancies, as well as comprehensive treatments involving radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and biotherapy. He is also highly skilled in using image-guided stereotactic techniques, neuronavigation, and neurosurgical robot-assisted technologies for precise biopsies of intracranial lesions. Dr. Wang began his seven-year clinical medicine program at Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University in 1998. In 2004, he transferred to the eight-year program at Peking Union Medical College, where he earned his MD in 2006. Following graduation, he served as a Resident, Chief Resident, and Attending Physician at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. From 2013 to 2014, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Neuro-Oncology Center of MD Anderson Cancer Center in the United States, focusing on the pathogenesis, molecular targeted therapy, and comprehensive treatment of gliomas. He is actively leading and participating in numerous Phase I, II, and III clinical trials exploring innovative treatments, targeted therapies, and immunotherapies for glioblastoma, low-grade gliomas, diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), and other advanced solid tumors.
General Medicine (General Internal Medicine)
Associate Chief Physician / Associate Professor. Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common internal medicine diseases such as hyperuricemia, focusing on holistic medicine, multidisciplinary diseases, and difficult cases such as unexplained fever and multi-system damage. Dr. Yuanjie Li graduated from Peking Union Medical College with a doctoral degree. He has been working in the Department of Internal Medicine at Peking Union Medical College Hospital since 2009, serving successively as a resident physician, chief resident physician, specialist training physician, and attending physician in general internal medicine. He went to the Department of General Practice at the University of Melbourne in Australia to study general practice teaching and scientific research. Dr. Fan holds an MD in Clinical Medicine from Peking Union Medical College. Professor Yuehong Zheng is the Director of Vascular Surgery, Director of the Vascular Surgery Teaching and Research Section, Chief Physician, and Doctoral Supervisor at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of aortic aneurysms and aortic dissections, as well as the surgical and endovascular treatment of peripheral arterial and venous diseases such as arteriosclerosis obliterans, renal artery stenosis, carotid body tumors, and varicose veins. With over 20 years of medical experience, Prof. Zheng is highly skilled in open surgeries and interventional treatments for aortic and visceral artery diseases, diagnosis and treatment of vena cava and peripheral venous diseases, and autologous orthotopic kidney transplantation. He has made significant breakthroughs in various complex vascular surgeries, earning recognition from international experts. He actively performs innovative procedures, including hybrid treatments for aortic lesions, intraoperative fenestration techniques, and radical treatments for Budd-Chiari syndrome. Prof. Zheng holds numerous prominent positions, including Vice President of the International Society for Vascular Surgery (ISVS), Chairman of the Peripheral Vascular Disease Committee of the Chinese Society of Microcirculation, President of the Asia Pacific Vascular Society (APA), and Chairman of the Vascular Branch of the Western Returned Scholars Association. He serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for multiple domestic and international medical journals, an FDA new drug review expert, and a reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Vascular Surgery
Deputy Director of Vascular Surgery, Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, and Professor. Pediatrics
Chief Physician, Professor, and Master's Supervisor in the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Qiu specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prenatal diagnosis of inherited metabolic liver diseases (such as glycogen storage disease and Wilson disease), as well as the diagnosis and genetic counseling of malformation syndromes and complex pediatric diseases. She focuses on the clinical, biochemical, and molecular diagnosis of inherited metabolic diseases, striving to provide prenatal diagnosis for affected families. She has extensive experience in the genetic diagnosis and long-term management of inherited metabolic liver diseases, including glycogen storage disease types Ia, Ib, III, and IX, Wilson disease, congenital hyperbilirubinemia, and tyrosinemia type I. Additionally, she is highly experienced in the clinical classification and differential diagnosis of common lysosomal storage diseases, congenital myasthenia, and congenital skeletal dysplasias. Dr. Qiu graduated from Shanghai Medical University in 1984 and obtained her Master of Medicine from Peking Union Medical College in 1987. She also earned a Master's degree in Genetics from McGill University in Canada in 1993. She has been practicing in the Department of Pediatrics at Peking Union Medical College Hospital since 1987. She has completed specialized training in genetic metabolic diseases abroad twice, including clinical and biochemical genetics at Montreal Children's Hospital in Canada (1989-1990) and an NIH-funded international genetic medicine training program at Johns Hopkins University in the United States (2003-2005).
