Associate Chief Physician and Associate Professor. Specializes in the diagnosis and therapy of infectious diseases (upper respiratory tract infection, pneumonia, liver abscess, abdominal infection, infective endocarditis, osteomyelitis, urinary system infection, blood stream infection), fever of unknown origin, hepatitis, AIDS, syphilis, tuberculosis and other aspects, especially in tumor patients and adolescents with fever. Dr. Guo started working in clinical practice in 2004, obtained a Medical Doctorate (MD) in 2015, and served as a visiting scholar at Yale University in the United States from 2017 to 2018. Has accumulated rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of fever of unknown origin, difficult and severe infections, AIDS, and common infectious diseases.

Associate Chief Physician of Gastroenterology, MD, and Secretary of the Youth League Committee of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common digestive system diseases such as gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer, Helicobacter pylori infection, colon polyps, and acute pancreatitis, as well as comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and dietary intervention for inflammatory bowel disease.

Dr. Guoqing Tian is a Chief Physician, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor in the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He specializes in the integrated Traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of diabetes and its chronic complications, as well as the auxiliary Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatment of cancer, including lung cancer, and miscellaneous internal medicine diseases. He graduated from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1992 and earned his MD/PhD in Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Clinical Medicine from Peking Union Medical College in 2000. In 2007, he served as a visiting scholar at the Institute of Environmental and Human Health at Texas Tech University in the United States. Dr. Tian has received rigorous training in both TCM and Western medicine, possessing a solid foundation in medical theory and extensive clinical experience. Dr. Tian is highly dedicated to medical education, frequently teaching foreign students in English, and has been recognized multiple times as an Outstanding Teacher and Clinical Instructor at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He has led and participated in numerous prestigious research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the '11th Five-Year' National Science and Technology Support Program. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of malnutrition in cancer patients, inflammatory bowel disease patients, and chronic kidney disease patients. He also specializes in medical nutritional weight loss for obesity patients, and other common malnutrition due to various diseases. From August 2002 to July 2009, he worked in the Department of Internal Medicine at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, serving successively as a Resident, Chief Resident, and Attending Physician. From July 2009 to April 2023, he served as an Attending Physician in the Clinical Nutrition Department, responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of malnutrition in outpatients, nutritional consultation for inpatients, and recommendations and adjustments for parenteral and enteral nutrition support. Professor Li specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of adrenal gland diseases, tumors of the urinary system and male reproductive system, and benign prostatic hyperplasia, with a particular focus on pheochromocytoma. He is highly skilled in various laparoscopic operations, including robot-assisted laparoscopic surgeries. He is a renowned expert at Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH), Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and a recipient of the State Council Special Government Allowance. He also serves as an Honorary Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In the 1990s, he was a visiting scholar in urology at Columbia University Presbyterian Medical Center and Cornell University in New York. He has been engaged in clinical and basic urology work at PUMCH for over 30 years. Professor Li has made significant contributions to adrenal surgery, minimally invasive urology, kidney transplantation, urological oncology, and prostate diseases. He pioneered laparoscopic adrenal tumor resection in China in the 1990s and successfully performed the country's first 3D laparoscopic surgery in 2012. Specializes in the diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and treatment of common and complex cardiovascular diseases, particularly coronary heart disease, hypertension, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, and cardiac involvement in systemic diseases. Graduated from Peking Union Medical College in 2010 with an 8-year clinical medicine program, obtaining an MD degree under the tutelage of renowned cardiovascular experts Professor Fang Qi and Professor Fang Quan. In 2015, he officially began clinical, scientific research, and teaching work in cardiovascular medicine, with his main sub-specialty focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease and coronary microvascular disease.
