General Surgery
Chief Physician, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. Dr. Jianchun Yu specializes in gastrointestinal surgery and nutrition metabolism. Her clinical and basic research focuses on parenteral and enteral nutrition, including the evaluation of gastric cancer, neoadjuvant chemotherapy and nutritional support, standardized radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer, parenteral and enteral nutrition support and surgical treatment for intestinal fistula, and radical surgery for thyroid cancer. She is highly experienced in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, such as gastroscopically controlled laparoscopic segmental cardia or pylorus-reservation gastrectomy for the treatment of gastric stromal tumors and early gastric cancer, laparoscopic gastric banding, laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication, abdominal hernia laparoscopic repair, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) / percutaneous endoscopic gastro-jejunal (PEG-J), and jejunal interposition. Born in 1962, Dr. Yu holds an MD and serves as a Chief Physician, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College. She has been dedicated to perioperative parenteral and enteral nutrition, gastrointestinal tumor chemotherapy and immunonutrition, tumor and nutritional immunity, parenteral and enteral nutrition and gastrointestinal motility research, nutritional screening and standardization for elderly patients, and the mechanism of metabolic changes related to weight loss and diabetes surgical treatment. She has led multiple national multi-center clinical studies and has undertaken over 10 major national and provincial scientific research projects, training 35 graduate students. She has published over 100 articles in domestic and international journals and served as editor-in-chief or co-editor for numerous professional books.
Medical Oncology
Associate Professor, Associate Chief Physician, and Master's Supervisor. Dr. Jianfeng Zhou (MD) is an Associate Professor of Medical Oncology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. She graduated from Peking Union Medical College in 1999 and has worked at Peking Union Medical College Hospital since then. She has been engaged in medical oncology since 2003 and studied at the UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center in the United States in 2012. She specializes in oncology, especially devoted to the clinical treatment and research of digestive system tumors. She is a core member of the multidisciplinary treatment (MDT) team for gastrointestinal tumors at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. She specializes in the comprehensive and individualized treatment of colorectal cancer, and has rich experience in the comprehensive treatment of other digestive system tumors, lung cancer, breast cancer, and head and neck tumors. She has published over 20 academic papers in domestic and international journals. She serves as the Principal Investigator (PI) for two multi-center Phase III clinical trials of new drugs for advanced colorectal cancer, and is a Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) for multiple domestic and international clinical trials. She has received funding from the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences Youth Fund and the CSCO Special Fund to conduct basic and clinical research on gastrointestinal tumors.
Orthopedics
Professor Jianxiong Shen is a Chief Physician, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor in the Department of Orthopedics. He specializes in the surgery and post-surgical functional recovery of spinal scoliosis and degenerative diseases. He has profound expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of various spinal conditions, particularly spinal scoliosis. He is highly experienced in scoliosis correction and the establishment of post-operative spinal function. Professor Shen is among the pioneers in China to utilize TSRH, CDH, ISOLA, and Galveston techniques for treating scoliosis. He performs over 100 scoliosis correction surgeries annually, successfully treating complex and high-risk spinal deformities, including cases leading to paraplegia, and frequently conducts revision surgeries. Dermatology
Attending Physician. Dr. Jiawei Liu holds an MD in Dermatology and Venereology from Peking Union Medical College. She is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of dermatological and sexually transmitted diseases, with extensive clinical experience in common skin conditions, cosmetic dermatology, immune-related skin diseases, and genetic skin disorders. Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine

Ophthalmology
Chief Physician and Professor. Professor Ke Tan graduated from China Medical University in 1984 and has been working in the Department of Ophthalmology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He is a renowned expert engaged in clinical, teaching, and research work in ophthalmology, with over 30 years of clinical experience. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of fundus diseases and ocular trauma, including diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, and macular diseases.
