He was appointed as an attending physician in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Peking Union Medical College Hospital in 2008, obtained the qualification of associate chief physician in cardiothoracic surgery from the Ministry of Health in 2014, and was appointed as a chief physician in 2025.
